Henkel Awards Unisys Five-Year Global Outsourcing ContractUnisys will provide end-user services to help Henkel reduce costs and support global expansionBLUE BELL, Pa., August 31, 2009 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that its German subsidiary has won a five-year contract for information technology (IT) outsourcing services from Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, a global manufacturer of industrial, personal and household products with more than 52,000 employees and operations in over 125 countries.
Unisys was one of three providers chosen by Henkel as part of an IT outsourcing program to help the company reduce costs and increase service delivery quality while supporting its growth objectives.
Under the terms of the agreement, Unisys will provide a range of end-user support services for Henkel’s growing business, including desktop management and support; service desk; end-point security; deskside support; upgrades and repairs to personal computers and notebooks; and transition services based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standard.

The Unisys outsourcing solution is designed so that it can easily be extended as Henkel’s operational needs grow and employees require additional levels of service. Additionally, Unisys will provide its services for Henkel in up to 16 languages, including Chinese, English and French, as well as German, Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.
